"But I will offer sacrifices to you with songs of praise, and i will fulfill all my vows. For my salvation comes from the Lord alone." - Jonah 2:9
All is nothing compared to you Lord! I will sacrifice everything for the sake of your name. I surrender my whole heart, mind, soul, and body to you God. Do with me what you please. Lead me O' God and I will follow you. Even through the valleys and trenches, even through fire and water, God I will follow you. Even on the mountain tops and through the rocky bottoms, God, I will follow you. Lord I will sacrifice it all just so that I can glorify your name! It doesn't matter- big or small- nothing can justify denying you. I will claim your name in this pageant and I will NOT be ashamed, NOR shy, NOR quiet about who I belong to!
I belong to you, God! You have set me on this path with purpose and promise. Lord, I will do what I have come here to do and that is to claim your name! I will no longer be timid, or fearful or causing a ripple in the mentioning of your name- in fact, I hope I do! I will be bold because I have been saved! Lord I have been saved by you and you alone. I will sing your praises out of my gratitude and shout so that all can hear that Jesus Christ is Lord, and His love, and His word are good! He is the only one that saves ad it is by Him and Him alone that I am able to proclaim His truth! I have been changed by His grace, and saved by His love. What more do I need? Nothing.
I am satisfied in the Lord, my God, and in Him alone. I need nothing else. My God is pleased with me because He created me. My hearts motive is to proclaim the gospel and to show just how good it is to the people of this world. My interview will be about the Lord because i said it will be! God has given me this boldness and I will use what He has given me to proclaim the message He has also given me. God has put these words- His words- in my mouth- and I swear to Him that I will speak them! I am that serious about the gospel. I will protect its truth, its law, and its love. For it is God's words I am guarding, therefore it is my Father's words. I will not alter it for preference, nor sugar coat it because of my own timidness- No! God will glorified and exalted, not me! He will be presented RIGHT, regardless of my fear, nervousness, or selfishness. My pride will be exchanged for humility because i will do whatever it takes to stand for the Lord. God's love will be known, for God has given me the opportunity to speak it, to show it, to give it, and to challenge believers to act on it! I am a voice for God and if no one else will stand with me, I still will not stand alone because the Lord, my God will stand with me! I will stand before an audience of people and loose it all as a sacrifice because my identity is in Christ and Christ alone! I will stand for God, knowing that He is the only one standing for me.
I smile in the face of persecution, for the Lord is on my side. I have no fear for my God is for me, therefore it makes no difference who is against me. I bear the name of Christ and I am proud of it.
